Merry Christmas to everyone!!!!

Yes, this is the man already starting on one of his Legos!!! I think he first woke up at 2am. he was pretty patient! Savannah was next at about 5am!!! And they had to wake Livi up at 6am! John had told Jackson, if Livi is not awake by 6, you can wake her up. It is 7am and we are going to take a little nap. Luckily I never got called in to work last night! Otherwise they would have had to wait unitl 815 to open gifts!!! That I am sure would have been torture! Merry Christmas to everyone! John and I are going to take a nap!

SWEET!!!! SWEET!!!! That was Savannah as she was opening her camera!! That is what she really wanted! I think that she wants to be like her mom!!!

Well, Livi was the last one to wake up this morning! She is still looking sleepy! But she sure was excited to open her gifts!

Santa!!!

Since we missed out on the Santa experience in Montello this year due to Jackson's strep and the weather, we waited in line at the mall last night. This guy was pretty cool. Real beard and everything. It was pretty cute.
Savannah did say on the way home tonight, " I am just so excited about Christmas because it is Jesus' birthday, I can't wait!!! It is ok that we get presents, too!"

Washington D.C

Yes, that was last weekend in Washington D.C.

Guess where I was last weekend? I thought that I was going to be in Chicago for a shopping weekend, with my mom and good family friend and my mom surprised me with a trip to Washington D.C. I had no clue, until we literally pulled up to baggage and check in at the airport on Friday morning and mom said, "Shannon, we have a plane to catch!" It was such a wonderful surprise. I can't believe that John knew and kept the secret, I was really impressed! My really good friend Maggie lives there, so instead of her coming to Chicago, we went to her!!!! It was great to walk around,( we did a lot of that) and see all of the monuments and just enjoy each others company. We walked around Georgetown and ate a lot of really delicious meals!!! It went way too fast, but it was such a wonderful time to catch up with a great lifetime friend. Thank you!
