2006 Dodge Grand Caravan!!!!!!

Yes, we bought a new van this weekend. Mine was starting to make many noises that I didn't trust and I didn't want to put more money into it. The old one had 163k and little by little, I could tell that things were going, we didn't get very much for it, but thankfully it is gone. We got a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan with 25k. WE were very pleased with this find. It had all the extras that I really wanted , but wasn't sure that I would get: Stow and Go, DVD, power doors and all the little things. The interior looks similar to our other one, but much, much cleaner. Last Friday when I went to clean out the van, with the thought it may be traded in, I was disgusted when I walked back to the very back seat where the two older ones sit. There were stickers on the back of the seat and many, many crumbs everywhere. It took a long time to just get it picked up. I have set some rules, that I hope will at least stick for about a month: no food, no drink, no crayons, no stickers, and whatever you bring in, goes out. NO FUN!!!! I know that is how it sounds, but I would at least like to keep it as clean as we can for as long as we can. I am really enjoying the power doors and locks. The little things in life!!! I went out and bought some really cheap rugs to put where the kids climb in, to try to keep as much of the salt and dirt off the carpets, for now.

Livi enjoying her Vanilla Milk as we hang out at Starbucks together. She is my coffee clutch partner. I am so glad there is a brand new one on the route to the kid's school. How dangerous is that? Well, I have been good about not stopping too much. It will be my new study place, unfortunately it is not open past 10pm. It is hard to find a place around here that is open later than that.

Here is Savannah after her recital. She didn't even take her book up, she did it by memory. Another great job.

Jackson, after his piano recital. He did a great job, even though he did forget his repeat! But it sounded confident!

On New Years Eve we went on a winter walk in one of the nature centers near us. What fun that was finding animal tracks and just enjoying the pretty scenery with all the snow.
