Fun At the Zoo!!!

Yesturday we went to the zoo with Angie, Maddie, Kennedy, and
India and had a good hot day for it. The kids were just so happy
to see each other. Some wore the wrong shoes, so there were
sore feet, but they loved going through the "misting" water to
cool off and get their minds off their feet. Some of the animals
were busy and some were just relaxed because of the heat, I'm
sure. It was a nice day! Thanks girls!!

HAPPY 9TH B-DAY JACKSON

Look at our big guy. We had a very relaxing day
today. He requested m&m pancakes for breakfast
with sausage, he was busy playing with some Legos
in his room. Lunch he wanted buttered noodles, like the
ones from Noodles, he says I make them better.
For dinner tonight we made, make your own pizzas
and had angel food cake with banana pudding and
bananas. We had my parents and our neighbors over to
celebrate. He genuinely seemed like he had a nice day!

I just can't believe that 9 years ago today this little guy was
born. The years really do go by fast! I still remember the first
day we had him in our room in the hospital, he cried all night until
he fell asleep on John's chest. From that day we knew that life with
children wasn't always going to be easy and to always expect
the unexpected. We have no complaints though and are very proud of
our Jackson. He just keeps working hard and always has more surprises
for us!!!!

Kalahari Family Reunion 2008

We stayed in these really beautiful condos at the Kalahari.
It was a great gathering and lots of fun to see the family.

10 years!!!!

Last night we enjoyed a night out to celebrate our
10 years together! We went to three different places
and actually stayed out until midnight!!! WE are really
getting older! This was taken at Alterra's while we were
drinking our Espresso to get us through the rest of the night.
It was a beautiful night to be outside.
I think that John was
getting ready to give me bunny ears, or something like that!!
WE are really looking forward to our trip in July to Savannah,
GA, to really celebrate.

WEll, at least this used to be the waterfall, there is no
longer a fall to the water. This was last Sunday night.
WE haven't been down there this week yet, hopefully it
looks a lot better.

The Zoo

Last Friday the kids and I went to the zoo
for a nice afternoon, we did get stuck in the rain
a little, but it was a very nice day spent with
the kids!!
