Just an Update!!

Well, busy here as usual. My class is really taking a lot of my extra time, wait, what is that anyways? At least we are going to be able to take a mini-vacation this weekend to the Dells. WE are really looking forward to some time together as a family. Of course I should be studying this weekend, seeing as I have an exam on Wed next week, but I will find some time and try not to feel too guilty about having fun.

Not too much else here, I have found that Jackson really needs to get to the eye doctor, he couldn't read some of the sign at Culver's the other night and said it was pretty blurry. That is next on my list of things to do! Everything else is ok here. SAvannah and Liv are both in ballet and totally loving it. John has been really enjoying his art when he gets home at night.

I have been enjoying Idol when I can fast forward through the commercials.

Sick, Snow and Stress!!!

Well, what a week! I can't believe that we have had three snow days this year already. We missed two weeks in the beginning of the school year because of the fire in the school, so I am sure that we are really getting behind in days. Poor Jackson was home sick with a really bad cold on Tues, still sick on the snow day and missed Thursday as well. I had to send him on Friday because I had class, so I checked on him at lunch when I picked up Olivia and he looked tired, but ok to stay.
I got a wonderful call on Wed night at 1130 (the night of the snow storm). My work called and said, "Where are you? You are on our schedule!!!" I knew that I wasn't scheduled, it was not on either of my calendar, which I am very good about writing in for obvious reasons. I think that the girl making out the schedule had made a mistake, she appoligized that morning. Well the supervisor that I talked to wasn't very nice about it. the nurse I had talked to that is on our unit had said that they would be fine without me, but the supervisor never said that. I could have just told her that I couldn't come in, but I went in anyways, which screwed up my Thursday for sleep (took me an hour to get home, usually a half hour) and they would have been fine without me. John ended up staying home a half day, since Jackson was home sick and knew that I wouldn't get sleep, thank you, John:)

Everything else has been ok. School is really pretty stressful, but I'll get through it. I have my first exam coming up on Wed. I should be studying right now, but I had to put a new entry on my blog, for fun!!! Anyways, off to work shortly. Hopefully it is a good week, wish me luck on my exam!! Hope all is well with everyone.

Toothless Savannah

Yes, after many days of getting her to play with that tooth that was hanging there by a string, she finally let Grandpa and Mom pull it with the the dental floss. I have no idea how it was even staying in there, but she is proud as can be, the other one is starting right next to it. I wonder what "Nancy" the toothfairy is going to bring tonight. Don't ask about the name, that is John's doing!

Amani's 2

This was at Stonefire Pizza celebrating Amani's 2nd birthday. The kids all had fun, Liv was a little tired. It was a nice surprise when I picked the kids up from school and headed over there right away. Amani was so excited, they had a train table and water table for him to play in and a great buffet to enjoy, plus, it wasn't very busy at all, since it was the horrible weather night where it dropped 52 degrees in one day.
