Sick Fischer household

It has just been a winner of a week here. Savannah and I have been fighting this virus off together. Tues night was my worst, temp of 102 and higher very achy and just all around miserable. John stayed home yesturday to help out because I literally stayed in bed almost the entire day. By evening I was feeling much better. I did miss class on Tues and was able to reschedule my exam that I was supposed to take tonight, to Sat at 7pm. I am so thank ful because I just haven't had the energy to pick up my books. I am just going to go to lecture tonight. I am going to the doctor today to make sure that I don't have strep. My throat is quite sore even though the rest of me is feeling better. John has been fighting this thing off better than I was able to. It hasn't hit Olivia and I pray that it doesn't. Jackson is recovered thank goodness.

Update on Jackson

We went to the doctor today to make sure that his rash was nothing to be too worried about and that is just about what he said. Thank goodness. The doc said that was the 3rd rash like that he saw today. It is just the end of the virus and not everyone gets it. The rash itself is not contagious to the touch. Savannah is still fighting the fever on and off. I am achy today and tired. Luckily John got to go to work to day to get away from our sicky household. Yuck. When we went to the doctor today I couldn't believe how nice it was outside. 44 degrees. Wish I was feeling good enough to go for a walk. It really felt like spring. Yeahhhhh!!!I sure hope that continues. Well, I will see if I will send Jackson to school tomorrow, he is definitely feeling better, more like his energetic self today, a little too much energy for me today! Anyways, I just hope we can all get through this. I should be studying for my exam on Thursday. I am really not looking forward to that. I might just sit myself down at the kitchen table tonight and start looking over everything. Wish us all luck and say a little prayer for us!

It's a Sicky Sunday

Well, we thought that Jackson was getting better last night, he has had the sore throat, achy body, congestion, and more. This morning he woke up and had spots all over his body, some kind of a rash. His face looks aweful. Savannah was singing this morning in church, so my parents and grandparents were going to come, but that quickly changed when I saw the spots all over. She was quite disappointed. The doctor seemed to think that it was just part of the virus that is going around, but to keep an eye on him.

Now Savannah has started. She just got up from a long nap complaining that her throat is sore and she feels warm to me, this could be a very fun week for all of us. I have an exam on Thursday night, so I just hope I get some time to study and stay well myself. Hope all is well with everyone else! Maybe I will post a pic of Jackson's face, it just looks so bad, but he isn't complaining about it!

Potty Update

Well..... Things have been going very well. Yesturday we were out and about a lot, went to storytime, with a diaper on, just in case and she stayed dry and with the bribe of a sucker, she actually went in the public toilet!!! She had a completely dry day all day yesturday, even the poop!! I was so proud. We met John for dinner at Applebee's last night for dinner and she had to go to the potty about 5 times during dinner with no success, but she stayed dry. I was just proud that she was initiating it. So, we will see how today goes, but I have a feeling that we are well on our way to no more diapers. Way to go Olivia!!!!!

Potty

Yes, I have finally broke down and decided that now is the time for Olivia to be out of diapers. Wait, isn't she supposed to decide? Well not this time. At least that is what we think. With many reminders she has done pretty well over the weekend, except for the infamous Poopy! She didn't make it to the potty for any of that. But all day Sat, she stayed in the same unders and yes, we went to underwear. She did wear a diaper to Church, under her underwear of coarse. And, we tried a couple of times with no success there, but she stayed dry until we got home. WE have yet for her to be the one initiating, so I am not really sure how well we are doing. I am going to give her about 2 weeks and just hope that we get there by then. It is definitely much easier when the other kids are not around. Today is another day and we will see how things go. Wish us luck! Oh, yes and bribes are used!
