What we did on Savannah's Birthday!

"moo-n over Madison"
After lunch, we decided to walk all around the capital to find all of the differently decorated cow they have. I guess there are 101 of them. I know we didn't see them all, but we had a lot of fun looking at them all. We had a nice day and a memorable one at that. Posted by Picasa

Happy 5th Birthday, Savannah!

My big girl is 5. Wow how time flies. Posted by Picasa

I guess they all loved the cake, we couldn't even get them to put the forks down for a picture with Grandma. Posted by Picasa

AFter waiting an hour in the parking ramp, we finally made it to a restaurant called "Frida's" on State Street in Madison. We had some good Mexican food and great dessert, "Tres leche" cake. Wow! Awesome. Posted by Picasa

Waiting for the flash flood to pass. We had made it to the parking ramp just before it started and then we were stuck there until it let up. I think it was about an hour. The kids both said that they prayed for it to stop and Savannah prayed that this would NEVER happen again. After a couple of the loud thunder and bright lightening, they were a little concerned. Posted by Picasa

The Zoo

On Tues we met Uncle Loren, the girls and Grandpa at the zoo. It was a little warm, but we made it and at the end we were some of the last to leave. The kids all enjoyed each other's company. We went throught the dinaosaur area and Livi wasn't even afraid. After that, we met the rest of the group at Fudruckers for burgers and a good time. It was nice to see everyone and it was a pretty relaxing dinner. Posted by Picasa

They have a new exhibit at the zoo where you can get pretty close to the girraffe. That was pretty cool. Posted by Picasa

What a nice group of kids. They were really good, too. Posted by Picasa

I guess they weren't afraid of the dinosaur. Posted by Picasa

Aren't Great Grandpas Wonderful!

this is where Jackson sat for part of the movie. I couldn't believe that was comfortable. Posted by Picasa

Saturday after the rummage, we decided to head out to the drive-in to see Pirates of the Carribean 2. Boring movie but great memories. Once Olivia got her hands on this bucket, she didn't want to share. She even thought about giving it to Grandpa, but then said, "You can't have the rest!" and pulled it back towards her. Her and the popcorn was pretty cute. I guess it is one of her favorite things. She fell asleep before the movie started and Savannah fell asleep a little into it. Jackson stayed awake the entire time. Posted by Picasa

Last Friday we decided to go to Watertown where they have this really nice aquatic area. A nice zero depth area for the little ones and a slow enough slide that Jackson could enjoy the whole day. WE went with friends of ours and my mom came too. It was such a beautiful day, fun was had by all. This was the most I actually saw of this boy! He was going right back up the stairs to go back down the slide. Posted by Picasa

Just a cute on of the sisters. See the slide in the background? Jackson went on there about 30 times. Didn't see him most of the day! Posted by Picasa

Hey I am actually in a picture! Posted by Picasa

Livi did this all day long. She didn't mind getting her head wet at all. Posted by Picasa

Visit with Great Grandma and Grandpa

WE had a nice visit last Monday. We made it to the park, then went for ice cream at the cool ice cream/candy shop. I didn't even get any candy. What was I thinking? Posted by Picasa
