Birthday Girl Today!!!

Well, we had a nice long day in Chicago today. Traffic both ways, but well worth our trip. I am sure that Savannah won't complain. We spent quite a bit of time at the AG Place just looking and buying. Savannah ended up getting a new AG her name is Molly and she is one of the original girls. She also got a bag and a backpack that the dolls can go in to make it easier to carry them. We had a very nice late lunch. We didn't have any reservations but put our name in when we got there and luckily just enough people didn't show up. WE had a very good experience there, just a lot of people. I would like to go back when most of the girls are in school! I think we will do that in the fall! It is three levels and they have a theater there as well. Savannah was too young for the show they had today, but they do have a younger show that is only once a week on Fri afternoons, we will have to do that another time.

I just can't believe that these FOUR years have gone by so quickly and what a little lady she has already become. Can I keep Olivia young forever? I know that is not possible, but I sure will enjoy her being little for a while longer.

I went in Savannah's room this morning because I heard Olivia talking and Sav. was just laying there with her eyes open. I asked her, "So how old are you today" she held up her four fingers. I asked her, "So do you feel any different?" She replied with, "Yes!!" What a nice birthday spent with "the girls" today. Olivia and Jackson had fun with daddy all day today! Thank you daddy!!

Of course they had to be buckled in the back! Where are Olivia and Jackson going to go? Posted by Picasa

The birthday girl, (Hollywood) resting after the long day of shopping with mom and Grandma! She said that the sun WAS IN HER EYES, that is why she had to wear my sunglasses! Posted by Picasa

After our afternoon at the AG store, we took a carriage ride to the lake and back to downtown. Of course, we got pulled over by the police on the carriage. Can you believe it? It was just because the Police were reminding our driver that he couldn't go on Michiagan Ave with the carriage, which he already new. He just wanted to stop the 5 cuties riding in the back!! We are all full after our great meal. Loved the colors in the restaurant, bright pink, black and white! Fun to scrap! Happy Birthday Savannah! Posted by Picasa

Here was our dessert of our five course meal! We got to keep the little flower. Our first course was cinnamon buns ( really good), second course was fruit kabobs, pretzel bites. Savannah ordered the American Girl Picnic meal which had a mini hot dog in a bun, mini hamburger, and a mini bowl of mac n cheese with fruit. My mom and I had the quiche which was very good. Then they brought out these desserts. We brought home the butterfly cookie for Jackson.  Posted by Picasa

The biggest smile on Savannah's face today! Inbetween Kella and Molly at dinner at the American Girl Place. What a nice lunch we had. Posted by Picasa

Here she is with Kella and Molly. Kella is in her new backpack and Molly has her new swimsuit on. Savannah really enjoyed looking at EVERYTHING American Girl that you could think of.  Posted by Picasa

Here we are before we were all overwhelmed by what was all in the store. WOW!!! Kella is in my arms, Savannah carried her for a little while, but Grandma and mommy did most of the carrying.  Posted by Picasa

I guess she has learned from her mother! Posted by Picasa

I am posting this picture so you can see how long John's hair is. Yes those are natural curls in the back. He is getting closer to getting it cut again, hasn't been cut since right before Christmas!  Posted by Picasa

Today we went to a place called the Elegant Farmer. They have delicious food (fruits and breads and pies) and they also have a trolley that runs from there to East Troy, about a 20 min ride! The kids enjoyed it. The open aired one on the way there was a lot more comfortable than the closed car with the windows open. We were trying to figure out what we could do in this HOT weather. WE were pleased with our choice today!  Posted by Picasa

Olivia amazingly enjoying the water! She still really dislikes her bathes, cries the entire time, but loved the beach!  Posted by Picasa

There they are just posing for their mom. Posted by Picasa

Olivia with mommy's and daddy's balls from our mini golf adventure. She just got the biggest kick out of putting them in the hole and carrying them around just like this.  Posted by Picasa

Savannah's first scrapbook, we made it for stickers and she had so much fun decorating. We sat out on our new patio set and made it together, while I made Jackson's invitations. It was a great afternoon!  Posted by Picasa

Here is the project I did for my friend at work. It is not the best picture but I was really happy with how it turned out, as was she!  Posted by Picasa
